Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens, towels, and staff uniforms.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean laundry items according to established procedures.
- Inspect items for stains or damages and apply appropriate cleaning methods or report issues as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Assist with dry cleaning processes as needed, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items to guest rooms and common areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing laundry duties.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality assurance.
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
