Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including hotels, hospitality venues, and industrial facilities. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are clean and presentable.
• Manage housekeeping operations efficiently, ensuring that all rooms and common areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Conduct floor care activities including stripping, waxing, and buffing floors as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless experience for guests and clients.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous, particularly in hotel settings.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $10.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
