Responsibilities
- As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' comfort by providing clean and fresh linens, towels, and other essential items
- Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards will contribute to our guests' overall satisfaction and create memorable experiences during their stay
- Sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens, towels, and other hotel items according to established procedures
- Operating industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers
- Inspecting linens for stains, damages, and wear and tear, and following appropriate procedures for stain removal and replacement
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the laundry area to ensure a safe and organized workspace
- Collaborating with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless flow of clean linens and towels to guest rooms and public areas
- Monitoring and documenting inventory levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor
- Following Choice Hotels' guidelines for health and safety, including proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals and equipment
- Assisting in other housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
