The award-winning Comfort Inn is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor to help the supervisor lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities Include
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while meeting guest needs.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery across the facility.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and staff performance for reporting purposes.
- On non-supervisory days, work as room attendant, in laundry, or other areas as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and housekeeping management best practices is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with staff, guests, and management.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
