Housekeeper/Laundry

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and laundry areas, ensuring that all linens and garments are laundered to the highest standards. Your commitment to excellence will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Launder linens, towels, and clothing using appropriate washing and drying techniques.
• Handle dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Maintain cleanliness in laundry areas, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with laundering techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
