What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Comfort Inn Shelbyville?
We are looking for Housekeepers to join our team! Our ideal candidates have hotel housekeeping experience but we are willing to train as well! Must have reliable transportation and weekend availability!
Responsibilities include:
- Performing routine cleaning duties including guest rooms and public areas
- Clean up to 10-12 rooms per day
- Preparing guest rooms before check-in and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Replenishing guest room amenities and supplies
- Complying with all department standards
- Communicating with the Housekeeping Executive about room status
- Returning and restocking cart at the end of your shift
- Maintaining cleanliness of the property including storage rooms
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to walk and bend frequently throughout a shift
- Detail-oriented
- Professional attitude
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently
- Weekend availability
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
