Laundry Attendant
Summary
Responsible for stripping rooms, washing, drying and folding laundry. Responsible for cleaning public area.
Duties & Responsibilities -
- Sort Linen (Towels, Sheets, Pillowcases, etc.)
- Wash, Dry & Fold laundry
- Clean laundry room & public area including but not limited to
- Elevators
- Guest Laundry
- Hallways
- Stairways
- Pool Area
- Fitness Room
- Lobby
Equipment Operated – Operate Washers & Dryers and other hotel equipment. Will train on how to use equipment.
Physical Requirement – Regularly required to used hands and arms, required to stand, walk. Frequently required to lift and/or move 20 pounds.
Uniforms – Must be in uniform and name tag.
Hours – Flexible and long hours required occasionally. Start work on scheduled day at 9:00 am. Must finish laundry before leaving.
Qualifications
- Proficient in laundry operations and techniques
- Experience in cleaning and dry cleaning services
- Background in hotel or hospitality environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities. This role ensures a comfortable and sanitary environment for guests by following established cleaning procedures and hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Replace linens, towels, and amenities while ensuring proper room setup.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Restock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies for daily operations.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost items to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety and sanitation policies.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens as needed.
- Follow guest privacy and security procedures while servicing rooms.
- Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or cleaning services promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Work Environment:
