Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities. This is a full-time position that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
- Fabricate and install parts as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Weld and perform metal fabrication when necessary
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and resolve maintenance problems
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience with logic controllers is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
