What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Front Desk Associate Night Shift position at Comfort Inn & Suites/Holiday Inn Express & Suites?
FULL TIME ASSOCIATE NEEDED TO COVER 2 DAYS A WEEK 3p-11p AND 2 DAYS 11p-7a. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SOME WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS REQUIRED.
· When guests arrive at our hotel, we only have few minutes to make a great first impression. That said, a majority of this responsibility falls in the hands of our front desk agents.
· A Front Desk Agent will set the tone of the entire experience that our guests will get from their stay.
A successful Hotel Front Desk Clerk will have various prerequisite skills and qualification, including:

*Maintain regular attendance and timeliness*
- Basic computer knowledge
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure prompt responses to guests’ needs
- Make guest reservations and operate multi-line phone system
- Keep the lobby crisp and clean for guests
- Resolve charge disputes, process corrections and/or adjustments, post charges to accounts,
- Count drawer and prepare cash deposits·
- Ensure that the safety & confidentiality of all matters pertaining to guests are met.
- Understand and execute hotel emergency procedures if an incident should occur
