Overnight Auditor

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, particularly within the hospitality sector. This position requires a strong understanding of hospitality management, guest services, and customer relations to effectively audit operations and maintain high standards of service.

Duties

• Conduct thorough audits of financial statements and operational processes within the hospitality environment.
• Review and analyze guest services and front desk operations to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls related to financial reporting and guest relations.
• Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement in operational efficiency and customer service.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing audit findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Assist in training staff on compliance standards and best practices related to night audits and financial procedures.
• Utilize phone systems and other technology to communicate findings effectively with relevant departments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in auditing or a related field, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles, including resort operations and guest services.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Proficient in using accounting software and phone systems relevant to the hospitality sector.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and management.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
