Responsibilities
- Prepare and present breakfast items according to established standards.
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding menu options and special requests.
- Assist with coffee preparation and ensure that beverages are available throughout the service period.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using a cash register is advantageous.
- Skills in food preparation and knowledge of breakfast menu items are a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service and enhancing guest experiences.
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is beneficial but not mandatory.
