Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic weekend Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our guests on weekends enjoy a pleasant breakfast experience. This role involves preparing and serving breakfast items, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and providing excellent guest services. The Breakfast Attendant will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and standards.
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with fresh food items, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide exceptional guest relations by greeting guests warmly and assisting with any inquiries or requests.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and service areas.
- Assist with banquet services as needed, including setup and breakdown of events.
- Perform meat cutting tasks as required for specific menu items.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering guest inquiries or taking reservations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
