Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during the breakfast hours, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and assisting with meal preparation. This role is crucial in creating a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, including food and beverage stations.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, well-stocked, and presented attractively.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing recommendations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Operate cash register for any transactions related to breakfast items.
- Handle cash with accuracy and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils after use.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously to enhance their experience.
- Monitor food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or guest services is preferred.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary skills is a plus.
- Experience using cash registers and handling cash transactions effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work early morning shifts as required by business needs.
- A proactive attitude towards cleanliness and organization in the workplace.
- Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is an advantage but not mandatory.
