Job Overview
Full time 40 hours a week position. Shifts will be either 1pm-9pm OR 2pm-10pm.
**Applicants must be 19 years of age or older due to the sale of alcohol on property.**
We are seeking a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as the initial point of contact for our guests and oversee all aspects of their accommodations. The responsibilities of the Hotel Front Desk Agent include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information regarding rooms, rates, and amenities. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, while maintaining an organized front desk area.
- Provide information about the hotel’s amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain effective communication with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality service by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Light cleaning, set up of meeting room(s), and stocking as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk role within the hotel industry is a plus but not required.
- Strong background in guest relations and customer service, with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays area requirement.
- Proficiency in ChoiceAdvantage software is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
