What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor position at Comfort Inn?
*Shifts are 11pm-7am Friday & Saturday with an additional 3-11pm shift as needed.
Our Comfort Inn Lake Ariel needs a Night Auditor to serve as the face of our business and senior management’s connection with our guests. We’re looking for a friendly individual who genuinely enjoys being around people and who can manage multiple tasks at once.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience and will understand the importance of responding quickly to guests’ needs and complaints. You’ll be corresponding with guests through email, over the phone and in person. If you’ve worked in the hospitality industry before, we definitely want to talk to you. However, we’re willing to train the right applicant.
Night Audit responsibilities
Answer the phone at the front desk to respond to current and prospective guests’ needs
Run Night Audit procedures & report any errors to General Manager.
Maintain cleanliness and security of hotel while working overnight.
Prep breakfast to assist breakfast staff with morning duties.
Stock and organize retail marketplace to brand standards to maximize sales.
Book reservations for individuals, families and groups as required.
Greet walk-in guests and guests with reservations when they arrive at the front desk.
Refer guests to local amenities and venues.
Communicate guests’ requests and complaints to the appropriate department.
Night Audit skills:
High school diploma/GED required
4 years’ customer service experience preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Friendly phone manner a must.
Willingness to work nights, overnight, weekends and holidays.
Familiarity with the hospitality industry a plus.
Ability to pass background check.
Willingness to maintain confidentiality.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
