Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including teaching hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients, particularly those with geriatric needs or requiring specialized care after medical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Monitor health conditions as directed by office, follow care plan in the clients home
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises to maintain physical health and independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to family members or healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with healthcare team, office care team
(must be 18, have you own transportation, and valid D.L)
Experience
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare role is preferred.
- Familiarity with various healthcare issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- A genuine passion for providing care and improving the lives of others is essential.
