Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. This role is crucial in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those they serve.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping.
- Medication reminders as needed.
- Assist clients with daily activities and encourage independence with providing necessary support.
- Help clients engage in social activities and maintin connections with community, family and friends.
- Lift and transfer clients safely when necessary, following proper techniques to ensure their comfort and safety (training available).
- Bring joy into our clients lives!
Experience
- Previous experience as an In Home Caregiver or in a similar role within group homes or assisted living facilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Working with elderly individuals is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A committment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times.
- Previous expereince with dementia or Alzheimers preferred.
