Job Summary ( Under new Owner)
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those requiring memory care and support for various health conditions. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being in a home or community setting.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Develop and follow individualized care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Support clients with memory care techniques for those experiencing dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and any concerns.
- Document care provided and any changes in client condition accurately and promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or social work is preferred.
- Knowledge the and ability to follow care plans effectively.
- Experience with memory care techniques and dementia care is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform basic cooking tasks to prepare nutritious meals for clients.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their independence and dignity.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
- Hoyer experience and ALS experience

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
