By working with Comfort Keepers, you will do many things to help those who need extra care at home. This includes doing things they need help with every day, like bathing and getting dressed, keeping the house clean, making meals, and other things needed to keep the person healthy, safe, and happy. This job requires you to do physical tasks on a regular basis, like driving, helping the person to move around, and cleaning. You will need to stand, sit, walk, reach, and kneel. You might also need to lift items that weigh up to 25 pounds.
You must have:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Able to pass a background check
- A safe car, a driver's license and active automobile insurance
- First Aid and CPR certifications
- A good attitude towards helping others
- The ability to follow instructions and keep records of your work
- The ability to follow rules for protecting people's privacy
