Caregiver - Multiple Clients (West Chester, PA)
Location: West Chester, PA 19382
Start Date: February 12th and ongoing
Shifts Available: Various shifts available for multiple clients
Pay Range: $16 - $17 per hour
Employment Type: Part-Time & Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to assist multiple clients in West Chester, PA. The ideal candidates will be kind, patient, and adaptable to meet the needs of each client. This role includes personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance.
Job Responsibilities
Client 1 (Post-Stroke Care - Female)
- Personal care: dressing, toileting, showering, ambulation assistance
- Assist with wheelchair transfers and mobility
- Light housekeeping
- 7 days a week, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Preference for female caregivers
- At least one caregiver must be able to drive
Client 2 (Elderly Male, Walker Assistance)
- Assistance with breakfast and lunch preparation
- Light housekeeping: taking out the trash, changing bed linens
- Encouragement for exercise and medication reminders
- Shower assistance once a week
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Open to male caregivers
- Possible transition to 24/7 dementia care in the future
Client 3 (Transportation & Dementia Support - Male)
- Assist with transportation to and from Paoli Hospital
- Use of rollator for mobility
- Non-smoking caregiver required with a clean driving record
- Coordination with spouse (speak with Carol for details)
Client 4 (Elderly Female, Limited Mobility)
- Located near Pennwood Elementary School
- Grocery shopping assistance and light housekeeping
- Transportation to doctor’s appointments
- 4 hours per day, 2-3 times per week
- Open to male caregivers
Required Qualifications
- Experience in personal care, dementia care, and companionship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation needs
- Clean driving record and proof of automobile insurance
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to client needs
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
Special Considerations
- At least one caregiver on the team must be able to drive
- Flexible availability for occasional additional shifts for appointments
- Non-smoking caregivers preferred
Work Environment
Caregivers will be working in private homes throughout West Chester, PA. Some clients require transportation assistance, light housekeeping, and mobility support. A professional yet friendly presence is essential for this role.
