We are looking for a dedicated Caregiver to join our team and provide essential care and support to our clients in Sandpoint, and Bonners Ferry areas . As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with daily activities, personal care, and ensuring their well-being in a home care setting. Duties:
- Provide direct support and assistance with activities of daily living for residents
- Provide Medication reminders
- Uphold resident rights and dignity at all times
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
- Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Lift and transfer residents safely when necessary
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a current Drivers License
- Have current vehicle insurance and registration
- Knowledge of HIPAA (Preferred)
- Be reliable
- Strong communication skills for effective patient care
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient well-being
- Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus
