In Home Caregiver/ Home Health Aide

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dependable and empathetic In-Home Caregiver to join our team. As an essential part of our caregiving staff, you will assist clients with daily activities, providing the highest quality of care tailored to their individual needs. Your role will include offering personal care, companionship, and support to clients who may have health conditions, mobility challenges, or simply need assistance with everyday tasks.

• Female client in Conway, NH seeking assistance 2-3 hours a day, 4 days a week.
• Female client in Albany, NH seeking assistance 12:30-5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

· Personal Care Assistance: Help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene tasks to ensure client comfort and dignity.

· Mobility and Transfers: Assist with transferring clients in and out of beds, chairs, or wheelchairs, and support walking or movement around the home.

· Meal Preparation and Feeding: Plan and prepare nutritious meals that align with client dietary requirements and provide feeding assistance when necessary.

· Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful conversations, games, or activities that promote mental well-being.

· Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take prescribed medications at the correct times and help monitor any side effects or changes.

· Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dusting, and cleaning up after meals.

· Client Monitoring: Observe and document any changes in client health or behavior and communicate with the office.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Willingness to travel at least 20-30 minutes is a must
• Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Our main goal for our caregivers is to keep you as close to your home as possible.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be willing to assist with personal care. We will provide all training!
• Experience: No experience necessary! Our team will provide the training required to be an exceptional caregiver.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Physical Ability: Ability to assist with mobility and perform light physical tasks. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Compassion: Must be empathetic, patient, and understanding, with a genuine desire to help others.
