Position Overview:
Comfort Keepers is currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Earn $41.00 per hour caring for our wonderful clients.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Comfort Keepers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of treatment and support.
Training Period:
- 3 to 6 weeks of training
- 6-hour training days
- Hands-on support to prepare you for independent client care
Schedule:
- 5 days a week
- You will choose your set workdays at the start, which will remain consistent each week
- Shifts will be 4 to 6 hours per day, depending on client needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver treatments to clients, ensuring safe and accurate procedures
- Educate clients and their caregivers about treatment and equipment
- Monitor clients for any signs of complications and respond accordingly
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records
- Provide support to clients and their families
Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Washington
- Experience with placing IVs, must be comfortable doing so
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to clients’ unique needs
- Have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Be able to pass a DSHS background check
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have a Food Handler’s Card
- Be CPR and First Aid certified
- Have a strong understanding of HIPAA and the ability to protect client’s personal information
- Be able to lift up to 25 lbs
