What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing and Community Relations Liaison position at Comfort Keepers?
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Marketing & Community Liaison to build meaningful relationships and drive business growth within our community in our Mt.Pleasant/Summerville area. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers, local organizations, churches, senior groups, and financial planners, with the primary goal of generating qualified leads to meet sales targets. This role will be key in expanding our reach and establishing our presence in the local community. You’ll track and report on progress, identify new opportunities, and actively engage in networking to foster long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Sales: Drive revenue growth by securing new business from key accounts in healthcare (hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, etc.), senior services (nursing homes, assisted living), and local organizations (churches, financial planners, etc.).
- Sales Activities: Conduct 40-50 outbound sales calls per week, including cold calls, follow-up, and in-person meetings to drive leads and establish relationships.
- Networking & Relationship Building: Build and implement a strategic networking plan to foster connections and partnerships with key groups in the community. Revisit and update plan as necessary.
- Client Retention: Maintain existing relationships, service accounts, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and opportunities for upselling or new services.
- Reporting: Provide weekly updates to the Sales Manager on your activities, progress, and opportunities within the community and market.
- Competitive Insight: Monitor competitive activities within your territory, staying informed on industry trends to keep the company ahead of the curve.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of proven success in sales or business development, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Sales Record: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets through effective outreach and relationship building.
