• Friday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced caregiver to provide personalized support for a male client in Redmond, Oregon. This part-time position involves assisting with daily activities, promoting the client’s well-being, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. About the Client:
The client is prone to seizures and manages diabetes. He values independence but requires standby support for safety and encouragement to stay active. A caregiver with a calm, attentive approach and the ability to respond appropriately in case of a seizure is essential.

Job Description:
As a caregiver, you will assist the client with the following responsibilities:

• Ambulation & Transfer: Provide standby assistance to ensure safe movement and transfers.
• Bathing: Set up the shower and offer standby assistance as needed.
• Activity & Recreation: Provide companionship, encourage light exercise (standby support), and motivate the client for walks and outdoor activities.
• Light Housekeeping: Perform basic tidying tasks to maintain a clean and organized living space.
• Laundry: Assist with washing, drying, and folding clothes.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare meals, keeping in mind the client’s diabetic dietary needs.
• Transportation: Provide transportation for appointments or outings as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Must be local to Redmond, OR or nearby town
• Experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of diabetes management and seizure awareness is a plus.
• Ability to perform light physical tasks and provide standby assistance.

Caregiver Requirements:

• 18 years of age

• Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance

• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

• Pass a Criminal and Motor Vehicle Background Check

• Smartphone for charting and time entry

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Hours & Schedule:
