Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Business Development / Community Liaison Representative at Comfort Keepers in the Greater Reno, Sparks and Carson City Area. The position will be responsible for:
- Achieving revenue objectives for assigned territories with the goal of bringing in new business to increase overall revenue and market share.
- Building and fostering relationships with community organizations, referral sources, and local influencers.
- Engaging in community outreach and promoting Comfort Keepers' in-home care services.
- Conducting regular client and prospect visits (targeting around 20-25 visits weekly) to promote services and build a strong network.
- Representing the company in events such as health fairs, seminars, and other community-based activities.
- Creating and Managing a robust networking plan, tracking activity in a CRM system, and revisiting strategies regularly to maximize impact.
This role offers some schedule flexibility and the ability to work from home as needed, making it ideal for someone with strong organizational skills who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in community engagement, community outreach and outside sales.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Strategic planning and the ability to adapt to changing business conditions.
- Knowledge of basic computer systems (Microsoft Windows environment) and CRM tools.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Three to five years of sales or community engagement experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.

Working Environment
This role is primarily a field and community-based position, requiring the ability to endure weather changes and travel to various locations. Work from a car is often necessary, and extended periods at a computer workstation may occur when working from home or the office.
