Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to individuals in their homes. This role requires a blend of medical knowledge and personal care skills to assist clients with daily living activities while respecting their dignity and independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Observe patients for any changes in condition or behavior and report findings to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with memory care techniques for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning to maintain a safe living environment.
- Support hospice care needs for clients requiring end-of-life support.
- Foster a positive relationship with clients through effective communication and companionship.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in patient care or caregiving is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is a plus.
- Strong observation skills to monitor patient conditions effectively.
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Excellent cooking skills to prepare healthy meals tailored to client needs.
- Experience or training in memory care techniques is beneficial.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
