Job Summary
Comfort of Home Healthcare (COHH) is looking for outstanding people who have a passion for helping others for our growing supported living services for people with developmental disabilities! Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering positive relationships.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions to appropriate healthcare professionals and management.
- Adhere to individualized support plans tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences.
- Support clients in engaging in community activities and social interactions to promote inclusion.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs as required.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Reliable, legal transportation
- Previous experience in caregiving or home health settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is essential.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and documentation practices.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavior management is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and assisting clients as needed.

- CPR/First Aid
