HOUSEKEEPER

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes, hotels, and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services while ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing to ensure floors are well-maintained.
• Follow established protocols for custodial duties in both residential and industrial settings.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks and adherence to schedules.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Uphold hospitality standards by ensuring guest rooms and common areas are inviting and clean.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is beneficial.
• Ability to lift and move items as needed while maintaining safety standards.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service in hospitality environments.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
