Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and welcoming experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Support food preparation and ensure that all food items are presented in an appealing manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces.
- Assist with reservations and manage bookings through OpenTable or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Assist delivery drivers as needed to ensure timely service of food orders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is a plus.
- Basic food preparation skills are desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
