**Job Summary:**
As a Housekeeping Attendant at Comfort Suites Auburn Hills, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, while providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Clean and arrange guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replenish room amenities, such as towels and toiletries.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any necessary repairs to the maintenance department.
- Ensure all rooms are prepared to the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and presentation before guest check-ins.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Assist guests with any requests or inquiries in a polite and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards set by the hotel.
- Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate needs to the housekeeping supervisor.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
