**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Weekend Breakfast/Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a delightful breakfast experience. This position requires a passion for culinary arts, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Weekend Breakfast/Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing hotel laundry, folding towels and sheets, cleaning the breakfast area, lobby, public restrooms, and taking out the trash.
**Duties**
- Prepare and present a variety of breakfast items, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, including replenishing food items as needed.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas.
- Assist guests with inquiries about menu items and provide recommendations when necessary.
- Ensure that all utensils, dishes, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Monitor inventory levels of breakfast supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Perform hotel laundry duties, ensuring linens and towels are cleaned and properly stored.
- Fold towels and sheets as part of the laundry duties.
- Clean and maintain the breakfast area, lobby, and public restrooms to ensure they are presentable for guests.
- Take out the trash and ensure waste is properly disposed of.
**Requirements**
- Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a hotel or catering setting.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
