We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our facilities maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various maintenance tasks, including electrical work, welding, and residential painting. This role requires effective leadership and supervisory skills to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance activities within our organization.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee and supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications to equipment and structures.
- Execute residential painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, welding techniques, and residential painting practices.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising a team preferred.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus, aiding in efficient maintenance management.
