The Comfort Suites Loveland is hiring for a morning shift front desk agent. Resumes may also be turned in to the front desk of the hotel, where we are located at 4851 Thompson Parkway, Johnstown, CO 80534.
We are seeking an energetic part-time (24 24-hour) morning shift front desk agent to work at our award-winning hotel. Hotel front desk and/or Choice Advantage experience is preferred, but not required. We have a wonderful, dedicated, and friendly team of hospitality professionals who are eager to bring a new work-family member on board.
The scheduled shifts are:
Thurs, Fri, Sat 6am - 2pm
As a front desk associate, you would be responsible for aiding the hotel's continued effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet guests and complete the registration process to include, but not limited to, inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirmation of guest information and room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting discounts, and ensuring guests know the location of the room.
- Assist guests with check-out, including, but not limited to, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for, using the point-of-sale system, processing credit and debit cards, and accepting and recording various forms of payment.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area, and other general product knowledge.
- Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests and resolve issues promptly, friendly, and efficiently.
- Field guest complaints with a professional and positive demeanor, research, resolve, and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction. Have excellent verbal and written skills to file incident reports.
- Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests through phone and online communication programs.
- Assist managers with reasonable requests.
