We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food items, utensils, and condiments in accordance with hotel standards.
- Ensure that all food items are fresh, properly stored, and displayed attractively.
- Monitor food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
- Assist guests by answering questions about menu items and dietary options, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness in the breakfast area by regularly cleaning tables, counters, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Handle any guest requests or concerns promptly and courteously, embodying the principles of hospitality.
- Utilize tools such as knives safely during food preparation tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous.
