Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean and inviting breakfast area for our guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will help create a positive dining experience.
Duties
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with a variety of food items, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing recommendations and answering any questions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system.
- Monitor food safety standards and adhere to proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of breakfast items.
- Clean up after breakfast service, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers or POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- A background in catering or kitchen operations is beneficial for this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
