What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Host position at Comfort Suites?
Position Summary & Objective
The Breakfast Attendant will set up, maintain, serve and clear items from the breakfast buffet that our hotel guests receive during their stay. The Breakfast Attendant will happily interact with our guests to assist them with their breakfast needs & help enhance their stay by suggesting activities or resolving any issues that may arise.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Set up buffet station according to Brand Standard
- Cooks and replenish food as needed
- Set up, maintain, work and breakdown station and maintains area cleanliness throughout shift
- Properly store all items at shift end
- Submits inventory needs for the following day by shift end
- Ensures tableware and chairs are clean and in place.
- Completes side duties.
- Maintain the proper care and cleanliness of tableware, serving equipment and service areas (front and back of house).
- Ensure friendly greeting to all guests.
- Ensure that established service procedures and standards are followed.
- Check with guests during breakfast for guest satisfaction.
- Understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Be punctual
- Work well in a team environment
- Maintain professional appearance and behavior when in contact with guests and co-workers
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor, department manager or manager on duty
Job Type: Part-time
