Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Evening/Night Room Attendant (Housekeeper) to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas during evening and night hours. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work with limited supervision while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, adhering to all hotel brand standards.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms, ensuring they meet hotel standards
- Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed
- Vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces in guest rooms and common areas
- Restock housekeeping supplies and carts for the next shift
- Respond to guest requests for extra linens, towels, or amenities in a timely manner
- Assist with light public area cleaning, including hallways and lobby spaces
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department
- Ensure lost and found items are properly logged and stored
- Work independently and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
Requirements:
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work evenings and nights, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be a self-starter who can work independently with limited supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
