Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during the night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome
- Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports for management
- Monitor security cameras and ensure the safety and security of guests and the property
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems, computer software, and other office equipment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
