As a Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Perform night audit duties including reconciling daily transactions, preparing reports, and balancing accounts
- Monitor security cameras and ensure the safety and security of guests and the property
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and efficiently
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
