Are you a hospitality leader who thrives in high-performing environments and is ready to take an award-winning hotel to new heights?
Comfort Suites Greenville Airport is seeking a dynamic, sales-minded, operations-driven General Manager to lead our top-rated, custom-built property. This role is ideal for a well-rounded GM with experience in limited-service or select-service hotels who’s eager to balance operational excellence with proactive sales leadership.
Since opening in late 2020, our hotel has been a standout in the upstate South Carolina market—earning Choice Hotels' Gold Award every year and consistently ranking in the Top 3 hotels in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson region on TripAdvisor.
This is a chance to lead a property that’s already running well—and make it exceptional.
Your Core Responsibilities
Operations Leadership (70%)
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the hotel maintains exceptional guest satisfaction and brand compliance across all departments (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Breakfast, etc.).

- Understand and utilize brand-specific inventory control portals and daily selling strategies.
- Achieve revenue and profit goals while balancing cost controls and maintaining high guest satisfaction.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment.
Sales Leadership (30%)
- Work closely with our remote Sales Manager to support local sales initiatives and identify new revenue opportunities. While you won’t be making cold calls, you will be the leader responsible for the hotel’s overall success—including sales performance.
- Collaborate on business development efforts, group bookings, and local market engagement.
- Attend networking events and community functions to promote the hotel’s offerings and meeting/event spaces.
- Actively participate in sales meetings, planning, and strategic discussions.
- Actively support brand and property-level marketing efforts to maintain top-of-mind visibility in the market.
Team Culture & Owner Collaboration
- Inspire, train, and retain a high-performing team with a focus on guest satisfaction, service consistency, and professional growth.
- Foster a positive, inclusive work environment where team members feel valued and supported.
- Serve as a trusted partner to ownership—providing clear, consistent updates on performance, opportunities, and property needs.
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of hotel operations leadership experience, with at least 2 years as a General Manager or AGM/Operations Manager in a select-service environment.
- Proven ability to drive sales, generate local business, and lead community-based outreach.
- Strong focus on profitability through cost control, efficiency, and effective management of resources.
- Knowledge of Choice Advantage or comparable PMS preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Open-minded and collaboratively-spirited personality!
