Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas in accordance with established standards.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and maintained, including floors, furniture, and fixtures.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by housekeeping management.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as with the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure rooms are cleaned to the proper standard.
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties required, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
