Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and guests. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and personal items. .
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and requests promptly.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and other specialized cleaning tasks as required.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Assist with housekeeping management duties when necessary, including training new staff members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with residential cleaning practices or commercial cleaning standards is advantageous.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or similar environments is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is beneficial.
