What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Comfort Suites?
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: Housekeepers will clean the guest room, bathroom, and common areas. Here are some of the duties housekeepers should expect:
- Empty trash cans and remove all trash from the room.
- Make up beds with clean linens.
- Dust all furniture, wipe all dresser drawers, etc.
- Clean refrigerator/microwave, etc. when necessary.
- Check closet for cleanliness and remove any leftover items.
- Check and clean sofa.
- Restock room amenity items.
- Vacuum all carpeted area.
- Remove all items from vanity and clean the entire top & front areas of the bathroom.
- Clean bathtub, bathmat, shower curtain, and tub enclosure walls.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Must exhibit good customer service skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
EDUCATION LEVEL: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
EXPERIENCE: One year of experience working in a hotel preferred, but not required.
