Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to promote hygiene and safety.
• Manage housekeeping supplies effectively, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
• Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning to maintain the appearance of all surfaces.
• Assist with custodial duties in commercial settings as required.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding housekeeping services.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning tasks.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Previous experience in hotel or commercial cleaning environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus.
• Ability to launder items efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Familiarity with custodial duties and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning.
• Attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
