Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel’s laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens and guest clothing.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron items according to established procedures.
- Ensure proper handling of delicate fabrics and garments requiring dry cleaning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area at all times.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before washing and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating laundry equipment.
- Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques, including knowledge of various fabric care requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
