Overview
We are seeking a breakfast attendant/host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and willingness to learn food preparation and presentation for our hotel guests for breakfast. As the breakfast attendant, you will need to ensure food safety standards are met and contribute to a positive guest experience in our establishment. Duties will include set up, preparation of food and take down/clean up of the breakfast and kitchen areas. In addition, interacting with the guests is desired.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast items as required.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meets health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to understand expected volume each day.
- Engage with guests when necessary, providing excellent guest relations and services.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel with breakfast is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment operation is helpful.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are important.
- Experience in guest services or hospitality settings, such as hotels or restaurants, is advantageous.
