We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Weekend Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a delightful dining experience for our guests during the breakfast hours on weekends. The ideal candidate will possess strong guest relations skills and a passion for food service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are fresh and attractively presented.
- Provide excellent guest relations by greeting guests warmly and addressing any inquiries or special requests.
- Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process orders and manage transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation zones, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with catering orders as needed, ensuring timely delivery and setup of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy breakfast hours.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items and restaurant services.
- Utilize OpenTable for managing reservations effectively when necessary.
Skills
- Proficiency in Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with food service operations in a restaurant setting is a plus.
- Effective phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries and reservations.
- Experience in catering services is beneficial but not required.
- Basic meat cutting skills are advantageous for assisting with food preparation tasks.
