What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Controller position at Comfort Systems Mid South?
Overview : Comfort Systems USA Mid South is looking for someone that is well organized, energetic, innovative, and is looking for a great opportunity to grow. As Assistant Controller, you will support the Controller, CFO and the accounting operations of the Company. This includes but not limited to supporting of the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. The Assistant Controller is also be involved with cash management procedures, monthly cost review meetings, and elements of risk management.
