We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Shop Delivery Driver. As a Shop Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our job sites. Your primary objective will be to uphold our commitment to exceptional service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods from the shop to job sites.
- Adhere to the assigned delivery schedule to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Load and unload products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Verify and review delivery orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of items.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, including assisting with product inquiries or addressing customer concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, conducting routine inspections and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies and procedures while on the road.
- Collaborate with the shop team to ensure accurate order fulfillment and efficient delivery operations.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining customer signatures and maintaining delivery logs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and documentation.
- Time-management skills to ensure punctual deliveries.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings, depending on delivery demands.
